Throwing a Gatsby Party

Directions: You will be fictitiously throwing a Great Gatsby party.  For this project, you need to research many elements of a party during the 1920's and the associated cost.  You will also be creating a menu that you would potentially give to party-goers. Everything must be relevant to the 1920's.

Step One:

Research both food and drink of the 1920s

Create a menu for the party (utilize http://www.musthavemenus.com)

o   Display three starters (with brief description)

o   Display three entrees (with brief description)

o   Display three sides

o   Display three desserts (with brief description)

o   Display three drinks

o   At the bottom of the menu insert a quote from the book that references parties or this luxurious lifestyle

Step Two:

Research the décor of your party

Research the entertainment you would have for your party

Step Three:

Now, you will write a three paragraph essay depicting your party.
4 Sentences Minimum for Each Paragraph

o   First Paragraph: Explain the Menu

o   Second Paragraph: Explain the Décor

o   Third Paragraph: Explain the Entertainment
